Devin Townsend: announces European 'Epic Industrialist Tour"; releases "By A Thread" DVD Box Set & launches first live clips online
As of today, "By A Thread - Live in London 2011" 4 DVD/ 5 CD-Box-Set is officially available in stores across Europe, released through InsideOutMusic. To give fans a first impression of what to expect Devin just launched the first two out of four live clips online:

Busy days for Mr Townsend! Having just presented the exclusive London Screening of the 'By A Thread' DVD box set, playing three acoustic sets in the UK, headlining a packed Pepsi Max stage at Download last Friday, then followed by Nova Rock fest on Sunday and announcing the 'Epic Kings and Idols North America tour' with Katatonia, Paradise Lost and Stolen Babies, Devin just doesn't seem to be able to sit still. And why would he? If you got so much awesomeness going on you may as well just get on with it and announce yet another fantastic tour so we're pleased to let you know that Devin will team up with the mighty Fear Factory for a co-headline tour aptly dubbed 'The Epic Industrialist Tour' which will take the bands on 40+ gigs in no less than 20 of Europe's finest countries. Note that right now we can only announce the first 32 dates but rest assured that more are soon to follow. Official support on all dates will be provided by Sylosis.
Devin quotes: So the Epic Industrialist tour looks like it's going to be a ton of fun. I've always loved Fear Factory and have had a close relationship with them for many years. It gives us all a chance to show off our new records, and I believe the combination of the tour of us co-headlining, as well as the mighty Sylosis opening, will make for a really cool and diverse package. I look forward to not only playing with those bands, but being fortunate enough to be able to do it again in your country! See you on tour!
