Toundra: launch video for 'Tuareg'
Toundra: launch video for 'Tuareg'

Madrid-based instrumental rockers TOUNDRA have just presented a new video for the song "Tuareg", which represents the fourth single taken from their latest studio album, 'Vortex', that came out in the Spring of 2018 and made its way to an impressive #4 in the Spanish charts.

This new thrilling, uplifting and inspired visual work has been done by Carlos Pedrosa and mixes illustration with collage techniques and can be watched here:

The band states: "We always felt inclined towards the music that's rooted beyond the realms of West standards. The aesthetics of the Tuareg doesn't belong to any particular place in the West world, furthermore their way of life is anachronistic, rare and far from any tendencies. There's many times when it's easy to feel connected to it when you dedicate your life to this thing we do. We are deeply honoured about seeing our humble career having the opportunity to shred light and focus into other sources of inspiration that lie on the other side of this world.
Because at times, we Europeans struggle at looking beyond ourselves.

Expansive, emotive music, appealing to our hearts as much as our heads" Prog Magazine (UK)

TOUNDRA took the world by storm with their personal instrumental rock in 2007. Since then, they have toured Europe intensively to the point of being considered one of the continent's most exciting rock acts and have also taken their challenging music to places like Mexico or the United States. They have released three albums independently and two under the imprint of InsideOut/Superball and championed charts crossing over countries and genres. They even formed the project Exquirla, which blends flamenco and rock. A new experimental work is expected to be released in the first half of 2020, so stay tuned for more news.
