Headspace were formed in 2006 by keyboardist Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath) with vocalist Damian Wilson (Threshold), former Hot Leg guitarist Pete Rinaldi, bass guitarist Lee Pomeroy (later member of It Bites and touring bass player for ELO) and drummer Rich Brook. Their first release, an EP entitled ‘I Am Anonymous’ coincided with their support shows with Osbourne on the European leg of the ‘Black Rain’ tour in 2007, which saw the band playing their first shows in huge venues like London’s Wembley Arena.
Their debut concept album ‘I Am Anonymous’ followed in May 2012, with the band signing to the Inside Out / Century Media label and garnered some fantastic reviews, with Prog Magazine (UK) calling it “one of the most engaging and exciting heavy prog albums” that they had come across in recent years, as well as “one terrifically exciting ride”. Powerplay labelled it ‘a feast for both the ears and the mind.’
After a near four-year wait, the band will return with the follow-up "All That You Fear Is Gone" in February 2016, along with a new drummer in the shape of Adam Falkner (Babyshambles, Dido, One Eskimo) following Richard Brook’s departure in early 2015.
